Massage uses the therapeutic power of touch to help the body heal, restore, and re-balance itself by means of carefully selected massage techniques. As one of the most in-demand of natural therapies available, its popularity rests in its ability to quickly release tension and stress stored in the muscular system, which then helps to promote a deep state of relaxation and revitalisation.
The benefits of massage depends heavily on client needs and the massage therapist’s expertise, and because Oasis has fully qualified and highly experienced massage therapists, we are confident in our ability to not only recommend massages that will effectively address client needs, but also provide the expertise of which Oasis is well known.

Trigger Point Therapy
Knots in the muscles of myofascial trigger points are sore spots within the muscles that cause mild to intense pain and can tighten muscles to the extent of not being able to move them.
The are often caused by the over stretching of a muscle, and when the muscle relaxes, the muscle fibres contract and knot together.
Metabolic waste (toxins) from muscle cells cannot be flushed out and fresh fluid cannot enter the cells.
The toxin builds up and causes inflammation and pain.
Once the trigger points are unravelled, the old toxic waste material can be released and fresh cellular fluid can refresh the area, thus relieving the pain and inflammation.
Trigger point therapy is mostly rubbing massage or pressing on the trigger points to relieve the pain and discomfort.
