Holistic counselling is a form of counselling that takes all areas of your life (your whole) into consideration when discussing solutions to any problems you may have. When we examine our lives as whole, as opposed to fragments, we see a clearer picture and are able to make informed steps towards developing peace, happiness and connection again.

Counselling involves the gentle excursion into the subconscious and conscious mind, to identity possible toxic thought patterns and beliefs. It will be our thoughts and beliefs that play an important part in our physical health, relationships, spiritual identity, emotional wellbeing, and overall quality of life.

Usually an in-depth consultation occurs before any therapy session begins. This is when rapport with your therapist is established and you are able to explore and discuss aspects of your life in a safe and supportive environment. Once these aspects are discussed, and problems identified, your therapist will be able to recommend a course of action that will be beneficial to you, and to also ensure you are comfortable.
